You might not feel 100% confident about singing and music making if it hasn't been a major part of your training. It may seem a bit daunting to introduce some musical elements, even though you recognise that there are many incredible gains to be had through this accessible medium.

We are delighted to offer some specialist training to help you to feel more able to offer singing and music making as part of your sessions. We have run some very popular webinars and we are developing resources and short courses at the moment. You might also like to discuss some 1-2-1 help, or even consider having a couple of singing lessons to give your voice and confidence a boost.

Mastering Melodic Intonation Therapy

This event has already taken place, but you can purchase the recording and resources here:

Whether you're new to MIT or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will furnish you with the confidence to deliver this amazing technique with confidence. Having refined and developed our use of the technique over many years, we can offer valuable insights that can transform your therapeutic approach.

If you have felt a little under-confident about coming up with the melodies, singing in tune, helping your clients to hold the beat, remembering all the steps...we will cover all this and much, much more.

You will come away with excellent resources including some popular phrases with ready made tunes and recorded instructions that you can use with your clients immediately.

This 90-minute event is priced at £12 for qualified SLTs and £8 for students, and includes access to a free singing lesson on February 10th at 6.30pm

Please note that we want you to feel 100% comfortable at our webinars, and so there is no pressure to sing publically or do anything at all. Participants will not be on display, and conversations are held via the chat function. We will practise the technique but with mics off!
